Flutist Aliya Vodovozova performs the energetic English Bourrée from Partita in A Minor by Bach at the Ludwig van Beethoven Saal. After the destruction of the Konzerthaus during the war, the interior got a fully new contruction and design, reminiscent of architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel’s time.

Aliya Vodovozova
Aliya Vodo was born into a family with a musical background in 1991. Vodo started her musical education on the piano with her mother when she was 5 years old. She was accepted to the Music Department at Bilkent Adnan Saygun Music School(Ankara, Turkey) and during her education there, she trained under Albena Petrova and Stilyanna Stavreva. She won her first prize in an international music contest called ''Blue Bird''in the Ukraine at the age of ten. İn the same year, she participated in a concert accompanied by the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra conducted by Alfred Mishurin. İn 2002, the famous Russian State Musician, flutist and professor at the P.I.Tchaikovske State Conservatory, Yuri Doljikov(student of J-P.Rampal)invited her to study in Moscow after hearing her play. İn 2003, she began her education at the Special Talanted Moscow Gnessin Music School. She played at the Kremlin as a grant aided student of the Vladimir Spivakov Art Foundation.
