Soprano Gianna Cañete Gallo is Belgian and Uruguayan.
At the age of 6, she began her training at the Huy Conservatory in music theory, piano, violin and drama. Her parents, both professional singers, give her her first lessons before entering the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. She then perfected herself at the Conservatory "Luigi Cherubini" in Florence and at the Hochschule für Musik in Nürnberg, thanks to a grant from Rotary International. She obtained an opera master's degree with the highest distinction, before becoming a member of the European Vocal Departement (IMEP, Namur).
